A family of three from the UK who swapped routine for freedom, and school for the world.
A bit about us
In 2024, we left behind our “normal” life to travel through Europe, Southeast Asia, and now Australia. What started as an idea – could we really travel long-term with a child in tow? turned into a way of life we can’t imagine giving up
Before we became parents, we were seasoned travellers.
We met in Thailand (at a full moon party!) back in 2004 and have travelled together ever since.
We’ve lived in New Zealand and Australia – becoming Australian citizens, and spent most of our lives travelling as much as possible in Southeast Asia, Central and South America, India, Nepal…. the list goes on!
Travel is different with kids…..
Since Jai came along in 2017, we knew we wanted him to experience the world and fall in love with travel the way we have.
Our son doesn’t sit in a classroom – he learns through the world. From spotting wildlife in Australia to bargaining in Asian markets, every day offers lessons you can’t find in a textbook. And as parents, we’re learning too. About ourselves, about what freedom really means, and about how much kids can thrive when life itself is the curriculum.
Why We Travel
For us, travel isn’t about checking off destinations or collecting Instagram-perfect snapshots.
It’s about:
Realness – sharing the messy, magical, and meaningful moments that make family travel unforgettable.
Slow travel – staying longer, connecting deeper, and letting places shape us.
Freedom – creating a life where time, learning, and family come first.
